That is awesome.  Godot is a great engine, and you've used it well here so far.  Nice work.  Looking forward to acquiring the full game.  Also, thanks for the Linux native build.  Much appreciated.

Thanks much for the Linux build.  Works fine on Kubuntu 20.04 LTS.  Wishlisted on Steam.

Yeah, the simple answer here is to always enclose filenames with spaces in them in matched quotes (single or double), or escape the spaces with a preceding backslash character (\) when working with such files from a Linux or MacOS terminal.  (Probably the same for Windows as well.)  Filenames with spaces are pretty common for quite a few years now, so one should just get used to assuming a need for using quoting or escaping when spaces in filenames are involved.

One should also be careful of this concern within program code as well to avoid unexpected and sometimes hard to track bugs.  Always ensure any spaces in filenames are handled properly by your code or expect strange issues to occur.

I agree with everything said here.  Also, the Linux build worked perfectly for me as well.  Thank you for that.

Thanks much for the native Linux build.  Version 0.4.1 appears to run solidly on Kubuntu 20.04 LTS as far as I can see thus far.  Nice looking game for such an early release version.  Can only imagine how slick the 1.0 release is gonna be if this version is any sign.

Greetings.  Just thought you should know the Steam version is broken on Linux.  Claims it cannot find the executable (it's looking for an exe file), and the Linux version that's in the game folder dumps out to the desktop immediately when run.

Love your world/terrain engine.  Did you custom build that from scratch, or use some existing Unity toolkit and drop your own custom graphics/map in?  Really like the look of it either way.  Performs well on i5 CPU with Intel HD4000 graphic hardware laptop running Kubuntu 18.04 Linux.  Any plans to ever revisit this project and flesh it out into a full game, or is it pretty much a "dead" tech demo at this point?

Ah, so there *was* supposed to be sound.  Aighty.  Wasn't sure.  It was still a really slick little bit of art nonetheless.  Just thought you'd wanna know that the Linux version does indeed run, since you had it marked as "Untested".  :)

Can confirm the Linux version does run on Kubuntu 18.04 (at least for me).  Was there supposed to be sound?  I had none.  Loved the graphical style tho.  Very artsy stuff.

Loved the art style on this one.  That alone made it an enjoyable little diversion to explore.  Also, thanks much for the native Linux build.  Ran fine for me on Kubuntu 18.04 LTS.  Even supported my Steam controller (pretending to be an XBox controller via SC-Controller).

Your game claims my browser (Firefox 74.0.1 x64 on Kubuntu 18.04) does not support WebGL (incorrect!  It absolutely does support WebGL.)

Same problem, same system specs.  :(

Totally wanted to give this one a try, too...

Discovered this game after playing one of your other games, and find this one quite enjoyable too.  You've got some talent there.  I'll probably be buying it just because you deserve the support.  Also, thanks much for the Linux versions of your games.  It's much appreciated by those of us who no longer use Windows.  :)

Huge fan of games that require some brainpower (like Valve/Steam's Portal games for one example), so I'm really loving the look of this game thus far.  Massive potential here, for sure...  Very much looking forward to seeing where you go with it from here.  Keep up the great work.  :)

(Apologies for the multiple-posts.  I've deleted the duplicates.  Wasn't updating the display when I tried to post.)

Wonderful.  Looking forward to it.  Always loved games that make you think and give the brain a little workout.  :)

Fantastic!  Challenging enough to be entertaining and a good workout for the brain, but not too challenging as to be frustrating.  Well done!  Played through on Kubuntu Linux 17.04 and enjoyed it thorougly.  I very much hope for a sequel, or expansion.

This is sweet news.  Looks like a potentially amusing game, but I've been Windows-free for over a decade with no intent of ever goin' back.  Any guess on your expected price point you plan to sell the full release version at?
